On November 19th, 2024, the Second Chance Hiring Alliance (SCHA) and the Greater Washington DC Black Chamber of Commerce (GWBCC) hosted a webinar to inspire and educate employers on the benefits of second-chance hiring. The event brought together experts and advocates to share strategies for creating inclusive workplaces and supporting justice-impacted individuals through employment.

- William Bumpus, Department of Employment Services (DOES): William discussed resources for employers, including training, job placement programs, and support through the American Job Center. He shared success stories of justice-impacted individuals finding meaningful employment.
- Charlie Whitaker, Career Path DC: Charlie outlined how his organization partners with employers and provides tools to connect them with justice-impacted talent, emphasizing the untapped potential of this workforce.
- Paul Winestock, Jr., Business Owner and Returning Citizen: Paul shared his journey of starting a business and hiring others with justice involvement. He provided practical tips for employers and highlighted the loyalty and dedication of second-chance employees.
