Second Chance Hiring Alliance (SCHA) members are D.C.- area employers, including businesses or nonprofits, who either currently second chance hire or who are interested in learning how to second chance hire at their workplace.
Benefits of Membership

- Network with other D.C.- area business owners and employers to learn about their experiences in second chance hiring.
- Build relationships with job readiness programs to share your workforce needs, learn about their programs, and partner for job placement

- Support second chance hiring principles and policies, including hiring justice-impacted people (when possible)
- Engage with other members, partners, and justice-impacted job seekers in conversations facilitated by SCHA
- Get featured on the SCHA website and on various online and offline platforms
- Share SCHA materials and resources and attend SCHA events (when possible)
- Occasionally respond to surveys and other requests for info from SCHA
- Note: There is no monetary commitment required to join the SCHA

Second Chance Hiring Alliance (SCHA) partners are D.C.- area workforce development and job readiness programs, as well as community-based organizations and government agencies, who work with returning citizens and those with criminal records to train them and place them in jobs.
